Elite Ballet Competitions 

 At ONE Academy of Dance, dancers in our Advanced and Pre-Professional Training Programs may be invited to participate in our Competition Program in addition to their weekly technical training.

Participation in competitions is determined by ONE faculty and is discussed with families prior to placement. Each level of training has minimum technical and weekly class requirements to ensure dancers are properly and safely prepared for performance. Eligibility is based on consistent commitment to training and readiness at the dancer’s individual level.

This program is designed for dancers who are interested in deepening their training through focused coaching, performance experience, and personal development.

Through weekly rehearsals and individualized coaching, dancers build strong performance skills including artistry, expression, and stage presence. This process also supports personal growth by developing confidence, discipline, resilience, and a strong work ethic that extends beyond the studio.

Competition training also provides opportunities for dancers to receive feedback from professionals, connect with the broader dance community, and grow as artists in a supportive and structured environment. Being part of a team fosters collaboration, camaraderie, and a sense of unity that supports both personal and artistic development.

Overall, this level of training helps dancers strengthen technical proficiency while building consistency, perseverance, respect, and self-discipline. These qualities support success both in dance and in life.
